Asset Protection is a vital part of Texans on Mission's disaster relief efforts. The Texans on Mission Asset Protection team is responsible for protecting TXM's assets and volunteer's property or preventing tampering or contamination of food or personnel.
This online virtual training will outline Asset Protection operations and duties and give you with the information you need to provide a secure environment for volunteers.
Qualifications for training:
- Have a humble servant spirit
- Have a current Texans on Mission volunteer certification badge
- Be at least 21 years old
- Be in relatively good health
- Be willing to work day or night
- Have not been convicted of a crime greater than a class B misdemeanor
There will be a Q&A session at the end of the training. Please have any questions ready for the session.

Asset Protection Training
Target audience: Texans on Mission DR volunteers interested in providing asset protection during TXM deployments.
Instruction in the safeguarding and prevention of the loss of Texans on Mission property during response operations, to prevent the tampering or contamination of all food and equipment, and to provide safety for active volunteers. There is no cost to the volunteer for this training. Pre-registration online is required.
