Texans on Mission will be helping a family which suffered serious damage to their home in a recent fire. This is the home of a former first responder and his family. Sadly, the damage is pretty extensive — the fire itself took out half the house, and, unfortunately, things got worse during the firefighting process. They're facing a huge challenge rebuilding and could really use our help. Register to help this family put their lives back together both physically and spiritually.

8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Copperas Cove, Texas

TXM's Marble Falls Fire & Flood Recovery team will be there with all the gear — tools, gloves, goggles and masks. We'll even have Tyvec suits those who want to use one (optional). Marble Falls is bringing in their skid steer to help move heavy objects.

We'll have plenty of water and energy drinks. Lunch will be provided. And to make things easier, there will be two dumpsters for the debris.

If you're available and willing to lend a hand, we'd be incredibly grateful. It's going to be a long day, but knowing we're supporting this family will make it all worthwhile.

You may contact Curt Neal, our state fire & flood coordinator, at 972-571-0330 if you have questions.

Let's show this family the true Texas spirit.
