Significant flooding in and around San Angelo and Menard has turned lives upside down. Now you can rebuild lives in the name of Christ.

In the aftermath of severe flooding this summer, the Mid Texas Conference of the Global Methodist Church is mobilizing churches to meet needs and share God's love. Through the conference's disaster relief partner, Texans on Mission, you can catapult people forward in their disaster recovery process by participating in construction projects of all sizes. Construction experience preferred but not necessary.

Volunteers help:

  • Install sheetrock after flooded homes have been cleaned out.
  • Tape, bed and float walls.
  • Paint interior walls.
  • Lay flooring.
  • Encourage disaster survivors.
  • And more ...

We provide:

  • Skilled project leaders ready to guide you and help you learn new skills.
  • All needed tools and materials to complete the project.
  • A church where you will sleep (participants will need to pass a background check to sleep at the church).
  • Dinner is provided.
  • Access to showers.
  • Opportunities for you to live out God's call to serve.
