Hill Country Mission Trips
Texans on Mission is looking for volunteer teams to go on mission and help rebuild after severe flooding.
You can support families affected by the Texas Hill Country flood by helping with the rebuild efforts. Texans on Mission volunteer teams will be assisting with:
- Rebuilding homes.
- Installing sheetrock and insulation.
- Light construction.
- Encouraging and praying with people.
- Sharing the Gospel.
Details:
When: Trips are available in 2026 during Winter Break, Spring Break, and Summer. Other dates may be accommodated by request.
- May 31-June 3, 2026 in Kerrville: Youth
- June 3-6, 2026 in Kerrville: College/Adult
Experience: No construction experience is needed to volunteer, but each team should have a minimum of one or two skilled participants who have experience in construction work.
Clothing: Please wear closed-toe shoes, long pants (no shorts), long-sleeved shirts, and clothes you don't mind getting dirty. Also, bring a cap and sunscreen for protection from the sun.
What you need to bring: Texans on Mission will provide all the tools and drinks. Please bring work gloves if you have them. Meals are provided, but there is limited ability to meet special dietary needs. If you have dietary restrictions, please plan accordingly.
Transportation and lodging: You are responsible for your transportation to the work site. Lodging is available by request.
