Usually, Mickey Lenamon, the Texans on Mission CEO, shares in this space about things that happen through Texans on Mission ministries. Today, he asked me to share because something great happened here Sunday in Uganda. It was great because only God could have done it.

We were set to baptize 54 people in a river. Each of these people has been growing in their faith through Bible studies started by Texans on Mission Water Impact. Sunday was the day they were making the professions of faith public.

We held a service where the Gospel was proclaimed, and God moved. Several more people came to faith and asked to be baptized. Even then, God wasn't through stirring in people's hearts. As we started baptizing people, even more people professed Christ as savior.

In all, we baptized 93 people yesterday. Ninety-three growing disciples of Christ. God is so good.

When something great happens in my church, we celebrate it together. We give God all the glory and thank Him for working through us. Sure enough, someone will give a hearty "amen!"

By praying for Texans on Mission, you are part of these growing disciples. You are part of God's work here in Uganda. When you read this post, can you give a big "amen" with me?

Thank you for living on mission with Christ – in Texas, Uganda and everywhere in between.
