We are in the first phase of responding to severe flooding in Kerrville. Texans on Mission assessors are on the ground evaluating the need to better understand how volunteers can best help.
The tragedy and devastation in this area are widespread. It will take time to provide details about flood recovery efforts and cleaning up homes destroyed by such heavy floodwaters.
We are overwhelmed, in the best way, by your response to this crisis as we are receiving a large amount of calls and emails about how to help. As we coordinate and delegate tasks, we’re doing our best to respond to every single one.
We are deeply grateful for every person offering prayers and support to the many families impacted by this flood. To help keep you informed while we respond to messages, we’ve created a page with everything you need to know:
https://www.texansonmission.org/kerrville
This page includes an update on what work we are doing in the area and information on how to donate, volunteer or partner with us. If you’ve left a message or voicemail, thank you for your grace as we work to follow up. Your willingness to support matters, and we’re committed to honoring that.
