TXM helps Brazoria church repair storm-damaged roof

Texans on Mission Rebuild this weekend helped Iglesia Bautista Betel in Brazoria repair its roof after damage caused by last year's Hurricane Beryl.

The collaborative nature of any rebuild response depends on faithful leadership and coordination, and we are grateful to have had both within this project, said Rafael Munoz, Rebuild coordinagtor. It was a blessing to serve the Iglesia Bautista Bethel community and other ministries sharing one physical location. The families surrounding this ministry are close in proximity so completed repairs of a church brings a refreshing hope.

Thank you to a 2024 UPS Long Term Recovery Grant made possible by National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster and the Southern Baptist Disaster Relief network. We also thank Gulf Coast Baptist Association and Pastor Reynaldo Cantu, who dedicated his time and visits with everyone to bring a sizable roof repair to reality.
