When disaster strikes, TBM delivers help, hope and healing. Disaster relief volunteers assist people affected by serving in practical ways such as mass feeding, removing debris and fallen limbs. They also encourage and pray for people, helping individuals and families take the first steps toward recovery.
But what about after teams leave?
TBM always partners with local churches, which gives people continued support as days turn into weeks that turn into months. Church members continue to encourage people and help them after the immediate aftermath of a disaster.
This has been particularly true in Nederland, which was devestated by Hurricane Harvey and hit hard again by Tropical Depression Imelda. The congregation has reached out to its neighbors in powerful ways and continues to support people in need, often ministering to people who were affected by both storms.
We're thankful for every church that partners with TBM. Together, we are delivering help, hope and healing to a hurting world.
