Cut your spiritual coattails

As a minister’s wife I’m bombarded with the everyday routine of life. After a full day of working, shopping, cleaning, caring for kids and helping with church activities, I just want to crash!

Each of these things are commendable. However, I often find myself caught up in the busy work of the ministry and neglect the intimate, quiet aspect of the relationship with the Father. Yes, I worship and hear from God among other believers during church services, yet when it comes to hearing from the Lord or spending time growing in the Word, I am riding along on my husband’s coattails.

‘They’re the real deal’: Revive leaders reflect on student growth during Kerrville trip

Forty-nine students from across Texas donned yellow T-shirts and travelled to Kerrville last week for Texans on Missions’s summer Revive trip. From Sunday through Wednesday, these volunteer youth worked hard on service projects under the hot sun, connecting with homeowners and growing in both skill and spirit.
