When is a bar of soap more than a bar of soap? When it's a path to a better life.

TBM Water teaches mothers in Texas and around the world how to make and sell boutique soaps, giving them a way to supplement their family's income and provide for their children. Because of their hard work, children have enough to eat and the school supplies they need.

Along the way, the women's confidence grows as they succeed and help those they love most. They bond with the other women they work alongside. A community develops as they develop a co-op. The women meet and make their soap at a church, strengthening their connection to a local congregation.

These companies already are transforming lives in Waco, the Navajo Nation in New Mexico and most recenly in Puyo and Quito Ecuador.

“I’ve gained confidence,” said Carmen Orona of Waco. “I’ve been able to do more than I ever thought possible. I never thought of myself as a salesperson but this has been a challenge for me and I’ve put myself out there and really enjoyed it.”

Give to TBM Water to support the ministry's efforts to provide clean water and empower female entrepreneurs through soap making.
