In a world of hurting people, every Christ follower is called to be on mission with God each day.

In an hour, a day or few days, you can have a tangible impact by using your gifts and talents for God's purpose. Every person has a role in God's kingdom, and Texans on Mission wants to help you find it today. As a Texans on Mission volunteer, you can deliver help, hope and healing to people who desperately need it.

Provide First Step Kits for people in crisis

Every journey out of dark days starts with a first step. By putting together First Step Kits – hygiene kits for people in crisis – you can meet basic needs for people who don't know where to turn for help or hope. When Texans on Mission volunteers distribute First Step Kits, they provide a place for both. Click here to learn more.

FBC Waxahachie supports disaster relief from home

A huge thank you to First Baptist Church Waxahachie (New) Soldiers of God Generating Hope for assembling First Step Kits, hygiene kits for those suffering from disasters.

Through your service, you are sharing the love of God and helping people take the first step out of a disaster.

Many church and ministry groups help people take their first step by putting together Texans on Mission First Step Kits – hygiene bags that meet basic needs for struggling people who have lost everything in the wake of a tornado, hurricane or one of life's other disasters.

When you and your church provides a First Step Kit through Texans on Mision, you provide practical help that meets a basic need as well as creates an avenue for people to connect with the caring, compassionate Christian who is reaching out to people in need. That person will encourage people, offer to pray with them and help them start their recovery journey.
